Draft, last updated 12 October 2026. Not in force until Kabar launches.
Customers
For people who sign in to Kabar we keep your name, email address, the workspaces you belong to and a log of important actions. We use them to run the service and to email you about it.
Readers
For each subscriber, our customer is the controller and Kabar processes the data for them: the email address, when and how they signed up, which emails they got, and whether they opened them or clicked a link. Opens and clicks are counted with a small image and redirected links in each email.
Where it goes
Data is stored on Cloudflare. Emails to readers are sent through Amazon Simple Email Service. Kabar's own emails are sent through Cloudflare Email Service. We don't sell data and we don't use it for advertising.
How long
Per-email records are deleted after 180 days; totals per issue stay. Addresses that bounced, complained or asked to be deleted stay on a suppression list so they are never emailed again.
Your rights
Readers can unsubscribe with one click from any email. To see, correct or delete your data, write to the newsletter's sender or to us.
